COVID-19 Update

CORONAVIRUS COMMUNICATION

We at TRDI are closely following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and actively developing our strategies for managing the impact of a wider spread outbreak.  At TRDI, we care about everyone’s safety and we are monitoring this evolving situation. A task force of internal operational leaders has been assembled and we are consulting with business continuity advisors to help us respond to this dynamic situation.

We will be sharing information as it develops, and we encourage you to do the following:

  • Follow the normal reporting protocols and stay home if you are sick.  Employees with symptoms of acute respiratory illness should stay home and not come to work until they are free of fever, signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines (cough suppressants).
  • If you test positive for COVID-19, you have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19, and/or you have traveled to an impacted region in the past 30 days, you must not report to work and inform your project manager and Human Resources immediately. HR will work with you regarding the issue.
  • Practice good respiratory etiquette and cover coughs and sneezes with tissues or cough or sneeze into your elbow if a tissue is not available; wash your hands frequently with soap and hot water for 20 seconds or more and carry hand sanitizer for use when soap and water are not readily available; avoid touching your face and sharing personal items.
  • Where appropriate, replace in-person meetings with video or telephone conferences and minimize personal contact with colleagues (handshakes, hugs, etc.)
  • We are making sure that the work areas are cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis. Additionally, sanitizing wipes will be available to wipe down copy/coffee stations, conference rooms and receptions areas.  Surfaces such as door handles, phones, copiers, etc. should be wiped down throughout the day.
  • If you have a company issued laptop, please take it home every night.  This is a precaution in the event of a more expansive breakout of the virus and will help minimize any disruption to serving our clients and our business. Be sure to test your remote access capability and report any issues to the Help Desk.

TRDI is asking employees to not travel internationally and to report any domestic travel. If you are coming back from vacation overseas or from a cruise, advise your project Manager and HR, you may be required to self-quarantine for 14 days. Before embarking on any travel for personal or business reasons, particularly if that travel will take you outside of the country, please refer to the CDC’s website for the latest guidance and recommendations. If you have concerns about traveling during this time talk with your Manager and/or Human Resources.

Below are several reference links on COVID-19.  We will continue to further develop our plans and will provide additional updates as warranted.   Should you have any questions or issues, please contact Human Resources at (210) 736-6670.   Thank you.
